Distinction of Medicine and Health Fields


Subject of Medicine is often considered as synonym to that of Health, which is a misconception. What we generally call as Health Practitioners termed Doctors are really Disease Curers and little to do with health of their clients. Their focus remains focused on diseases their clients suffer from and only those suffering from some ailment visit them for consultation or treatment. Converse to this, there is a need of real Health Practitioners for preventing diseases in people to keep them useful to the humanity until their last breathes. A related profession of Nutritionists partially serves this purpose for lack of education in this field.

Main difference between professions of Medicine and Health is that of focus. Medical Practitioners focus on diseases in a body and try to eliminate these to keep the patients alive. Health Practitioners are to focus on healthy functioning of body, mind and brain of people to keep them creative and productive until they are alive.

Current Medical Profession

Medical Practitioners are providing an important service to humanity by eliminating or reducing sufferings of people due to diseases in their bodies. But in this process, they are doing a great disservice of humanity by keeping alive those who are no more creative, productive or useful in any other way to humanity. This has been creating an unbalance in humanity with sick and useless persons becoming burdens on those who are still creative, productive or useful to humanity in any other way. Just adding to number of live persons is no usefulness of a person, who are being kept alive by Medical Practitioners. In my small village of about 500 families, there are two bed-ridden persons with fully damaged brains. They can’t move their organs at own will, and are being fed through tubes connected to their abdomen. Their family members take care of their routine needs all the 24 hours as their duties or burdens. Medical expenditures incurred on their care are also considerable. In the same village, there are another 20 old persons who are no more productive but are alive using medicines.

In the process of curing diseases, Medical Practitioners may damage some normal functions of the body, and this is happening so often in the name of side effects of medicines used for curing diseases. Thus, the profession is working against keeping the humanity healthy and functional. Most of the surgical operations carried out to cure diseases tamper with some functional system.

The result of about 150 years of practice of medicine on humanity has been that human lifespan having potential of being 500 years has been standardised at about 100 years.

Needed Health Profession

As aforesaid, Health Practitioners are to focus on human anatomy and keep it fully functional. For this, no medicine is required but only adjustments in diets of people work well. Problem in development of this profession is that human body functionality, particularly, that of mind and brain, is too complex and has not yet been fully understood. Another important cause for non-development of this field is that the humanity has become too busy in treating diseases, with no time for caring for health.


Why present Nutritionists are failing as Health Practitioners is for their considering body organs part-by-part, for fulfilling their individual needs through nutrition. This doesn’t work, because of the body working as a whole with close interrelationships of various organic systems. None of these organic system is independent and can work without support of other organs.

For this consideration of individual body parts, Nutritionists consider food ingredients too individually. Like no organic system in body can function independent of others, no food ingredients or nutritional element of it can work in the body corporate. For example, for deficiency of bones of a person, nutritionists often recommend Calcium supplements, while our present knowledge is that Calcium can’t be assimilated by a body unless it is dissolved in vitamin C. Hence, Calcium must always by served along with vitamin C. As we know more of functioning of human body, we would surely come to know that even Calcium and vitamin C need more accompaniments to serve a human body.

During Vaidic Era of about 2,500 years back, development of Ayurveda on the Indian subcontinent by scholars of Deva race focused on human health. But that precious knowledge has not been recovered from real literature produced by them, hence, whatever is today known in the name of Ayurveda is highly distorted and mostly damaging to human health. The real knowledge and sources thereof have been mixed with faked knowledge advanced by enemies of humanity for their vested interests of establishing their Aristocratic rule over people.

The real literature of Ayurveda is in a language what we call today as Vaidic Sanskrit. This language has no relationship with modern Sanskrit of India. No effort has been made to decode Vaidic Sanskrit and all the current knowledge of Ayurveda is based on translations of Vaidic Sanskrit literature based on modern Sanskrit. This has further distorted the knowledge of Ayurveda.

This author has been trying for the last two decades to decipher Vaidic Sanskrit to get real ayurvedic knowledge from real Vaidic literature. Based on what he has understood the language, he has made a humble beginning of Ayurvedic scripture ‘Bhavaprakash’ authored by Jesus Christ in the name of Ganesha.


Create the Aura of Yours

Human body is composed of and remains functional with six foundation stones called ‘Dhatu’ in Ayurveda. These are Plasma, Blood, Flesh, Cartilage, Bones and Marrow. On these formed in good condition, finally Aura of golden glow is formed along with semen of the person.

Ayurveda deals with the whole process of formation of body components, called Dhatus, and the skin appearance, called Aura, from the food a person consumes. After the food is acidified in stomach and then digested in intestines, it gets converted into two parts – excreta and the nutritional juice. The excreta – latrine and urine are ejected out of the body and the nutritional juice is further refined by heats at six places in the body as it moves from intestines to liver and onward. At each place there are two processes – cooking with heat, and decantation.

The whole processing produces two types of body components – durables and consumables. The durables, called Dhatus in Ayurveda, are Plasma, Blood, Flesh, Cartilage, Bones and Marrow. The consumables are Cough, Digestive Bile, Ear Wax, Sweat, Nails and Hairs, and Eye Filth and Tears. Each of durable and consumable components so created has its own role in the body for its proper functioning.

Six Dhatus, the Body is Composed of

The body of every living-being is composed of six components – Plasma, Blood, Flesh, Cartilage, Bones and Marrow. The Plasma is present everywhere in the body and provides nutrition to the whole body. The Blood too is present in major parts of the body and provides nutrition to them. Blood on condensation becomes Flesh. Similarly, Flesh becomes Cartilage, Cartilage becomes Bones.  The Bones become Marrow on further processing.

Originally, all the six Dhatus are got by a baby in her mother’s womb from the body of the mother. After birth of the baby, nutrition provided to the baby keeps on strengthening these Dhatus except in old age when the body wind sucks the nutrition preventing further strengthening of the body, setting in the process of body decay and ultimate death.

Refining and Decantation Processes in the Body

Refining of the nutritional juice from the food takes place under heat of the Dhatu the juice reaches at in stages through its conveyance under pressure of winds in the body. Each refining and decantation processes take a period of 5 days and 36 minutes when the roughage comes out of the juice. The refining is followed by Decantation process at each stage for separating fine and thick parts of the refined juice.

Each refining process brings out roughage wax from the essence. The roughage forms cough, bile (Pitta), ear-wax, etc while the essence is decanted to fine and thick parts. The fine parts are utilized to strengthen six Dhatus – plasma, blood, flesh, cartilage, bone and marrow, the body is composed of. The thick part at each stage is conveyed forward for further refining.

Formation of Aura and Procreative Substances

At the final stage of refining, no roughage is generated with the whole substance becoming Sucrose. Its fine component forms Aura of the person and gets spread throughout the body for prevention of diseases and providing good health to the person.

Thick part of Sucrose is the source substance for male and female procreation substances – Semen in male bodies and Semen and Artava, in female bodies. The whole process is depicted below.


The finest product of the processing is the golden color Aura of the body. It is also a sign of good health of the person and appears as a golden hue on the skin. Sick persons have deficiency of the Aura, hence develop blackness on their skin surface. The Aura being the sign of good health, it is the chosen word as the root of the word ‘Ayurveda’, meaning thereby ‘Secrets of Good Health’.

The golden hue and blackness are different from the skin colors of various people due to their local climates and inheritance. Even the darkest-skinned Negros may have the golden Aura on their skins and the fairest Europeans may have the blackness if they are sick. But the golden and black hues, symbolic of health, are easily visible on brown skinned people.

Health above ALL


Every person has merits and demerits with respect to his/her health, making the health differentiation in people. Individual’s economic condition and his/her health consciousness may be said to be the factors behind these differentiations. Though economic condition has a telling impact on health, it may be minimized if the person is conscious about maintaining good health which may even be achieved using simple yet critical ways to health. What matters in this respect is the person’s studies and right knowledge about healthy foods and other conditions. Most of the persons suffer in health matters not only because of their poverty but because of their affluence too. People in general know very little about being healthy.

Two other factors responsible for health differentiation are individual’s inheritance and his character with respect to discipline and his/her involvement in vices. There are some diseases which are transmitted through inheritance from one generation to another. It is noteworthy here that an inherited disease may not be eliminated completely in a generation from further transmission to the next generation, but it can surely be stopped from continuing through generations with conscious efforts of three consecutive generations. Same way, a disease continuing for three consecutive generations earns the potency of becoming an inheritance-transmitted disease.

Discipline and keeping away from vices play important roles in an individual’s health. Intoxication and sexism are two most damaging vices for health, and incidentally, both of these victimize affluent persons, very often. Thus, affluence may be a cause of bad health without a sense of discipline in life.  

What does a good health mean?

Medical professionals would like to answer this question as ‘being disease-free’. But it is neither the complete answer nor the objective definition of health. To me, good health means that a person has four attributes –

Physical Health,

Intellectual Health

Resilience, and


Out of these, the first two attributes work beneficially for current existence of the person while the latter two are his/her safeguards for future health. It may be argued that if the health at all the current times is ensured, there is no need for any consideration for the future. It is true, but all the whole lifetime of a person doesn’t remain the same for two universally present circumstantial factors of unforeseen adversities and ageing of the person. These two factors may damage health in the future of a person in-spite of his/her current sound health. The latter two attributes of health are to take care of these probable and essential yet adverse occurrences in the future.

Physical Health

Physical health of a person is not a mere consideration of his/her physical appearance. There are millions of persons appearing to be hale and healthy from an outer appearance but suffering from many internal diseases and incapable of leading active lifestyles. In the modern age of fast moving vehicles, many so-called healthy persons are unable to walk a little distance for their being out of practice without a motor-vehicle. Such persons develop many other diseases in their respective bodies due to their inactive lifestyles. Converse to this, there are persons who train their bodies to be so stout and well-built, like the wrestlers, boxers, etc, with no time or resources for any mental or intellectual activities that they become like wild beasts. This too can’t be said to be a good physical health for the imbalance in their bodies.

An active body means good health of mind of the person for the mind residing as neural network spread all over the body and taking care of internal and external activities of the body. So, when we say ‘active body’, we mean active mind also of the person. Therefore, physical health includes mental health but not the intellectual health of the person. The mental health is related to activities of the body organs under control of the mind of the person, while the intellectual health is related to sound functionality of the person’s brain including soundness of his/her memory, analytic thinking capability, imaginative creativity, and precise body organ controls.

Intellectual Health

Final parameter of a person’s intellectual health is his/her tangible creative outputs, or creation of things or thoughts not existing so far. All new developments for convenience and comforts of humanity are created through this talent of people. Keep on involving in purely intellectual activities with no care for the body is too detrimental to overall health of the person and to even his/her intellectual health.

The most important application of intellectual health is to take care for balanced development of the self and the society, thus improving the humanity. This includes taking care of physical health of the self through selection of foods and physical activities in an optimum way. Development of medicines for curing diseases that may occur incidentally in individual bodies is also the part of this intellectualism. In the same spirit, contribution to developments in the fields of Science and Technology, Humanities and Philosophy, etc is also indicator of the person’s intellectual health.

Another important aspect of intellectual health is development of individuality as the most important part and parcel of society. Only those with strong individuality form a strong society. Dependence on majority view and crowd psychology are intellectual weaknesses of the individual. Such people even in a majority form a weak society that may easily drift from standard humanistic norms.

Although every person has creative talent but most of the persons are not using or finding opportunity to use their creative talents. As a result of this non-use of talent, it vanishes in three generations through genetic modifications. Those using their creative talents improve upon it through generations.

For this reason, humanity is on the verge of dividing itself in two distinct segments of productive and creative peoples. The productive people would be good at hard labor and mass producing things through their physical health, while creative people would be developing new things through their intellectual health. It may be that in future, these two classes of people be recognized as humans and super-humans, respectively. So far, medical profession has paid no attention to intellectual health of humanity for its preoccupation with physical health only.


Resilience of a functional system is its ability to continue functioning well even under adverse situations. This concept applies equally well to organic and inorganic systems, organizations and also to health of individual living-beings. In case of individual health, resilience is not related to stoutness of the body but to its adaptive capability to circumstantial changes to keep ever healthy. Adaptability of the body has two components.

First component of adaptability is sensitivity of the body to changing circumstances. This is a sort of delicacy of the body that gets influenced even to minor changes in the environment. Second component of the adaptability is flexibility of organic components of the body. Sensitivity and flexibility, working together under control of the natural forces of life, produce resilience in the body that goes on sensing the external factors of health and adjusting to them to keep the body in good health.

Globalization has put a new challenge to health of a huge number of individuals required to move globally to meet their career and business aspirations. Their health needs more resilience than those staying in unitary climatic zones. Ecological damages too tend to bring about unforeseen climatic changes needing people to be tolerant to these, hence being resilient health-wise.

Medical profession has not paid any attention to this health issue also, so far creating more patients to them due to failure of people’s health in being adaptive to changes in circumstances which are now more common than before.


Resistance to deterioration of a person’s body and brain under effects of ageing is termed as his/her agility. Thus, an agile person remains equally hale and healthy throughout his/her lifetime irrespective of his/her age. This attribute of health has a higher demand now for the medical profession’s success in improving longevity of people, thus creating a huge number of old sick persons in the world to be fed and taken care for by the healthy people. Unless, people wake up fast to attain agility with or without assistance from the medical profession, the whole of healthy humanity will be plagued with carrying aged and sick people on their shoulders with little resources left for productive and creative activities.

Agility is more of an individual’s concern than that of the society or the medical profession. With taking selective and locally and organically grown seasonal foods, more of vegetables and fruits, and less of sugars, flour-products, and fats, an individual can attain a good amount of agility, though its attainment in full is still a long-distant dream.

Thus, a person is truly healthy only if he/she has all the four parameters discussed above with good functionality. A good health must be reflected in output of the person positively influencing his/her society, health of a person is not his/her individual asset but that of the whole society at local level and that of the whole humanity at the global level. This makes individual health as a concern of the whole humanity, with a particular responsibility of the intellectual lot of the humanity.

Meditation makes You to Age Faster


There are 19 persons on Vaidic records who lived between 300 to 400 years with good health and happiness. These persons were pioneers of Ayurveda, the health science developed by the Vedic scholars. Its basic tenets are sexually and morally disciplined life, more of fruits and vegetables as food having all the five tastes – sweet, acidic, acrid, alkaline and bitter, ordered with increasing importance, and livelihood based on physical as well as intellectual work. The idea was to keep on upgrading the humanity towards super-humanism where every citizen would have been self-disciplined and self-ruled.

But their proposition was not allowed to work by enemies of humanity who wished people to be sick and dependent, easy to rule over and exploitation. These enemies were aristocrats with common people like animals in their considerations. They devised multiple strategies to demean and dehumanize people, and their most powerful concepts came to be God, religion and spirituality which once triggered keep on strengthening through generations. Idea behind this strategy is not to allow people to have independent thinking and reasoning but to go by what someone else considered superior tells them to do. The process that works behind this dependence is faith, just opposite of reasoning. Social order so established was named Brahmanism wherein a class of people, called Brahmans, is considered superior to other people and as mediators between a phantom of God and the people.

Spirituality and Autosuggestion

All individuals are not the same, there are persons who refuse to believe in what they can’t realize through their own minds. Brahmanic strategy for them is spirituality that work at mind level within the person him/herself. The individual is made to believe that a supernatural power resides within him/herself and it may be activated through deep meditation on the self. The result may never come but the hope must continue until eternity to keep the person keep on moving endlessly in a close cycle of thoughts and realizations through a psychological concept of autosuggestion.

Autosuggestion is mental realization by a person what he/she suggests for him/herself. This works universally in a calm environment with none else to interfere. Spiritual guide drops a suggestion in the mind of the subject, and suggests him /her to suggest that for him/herself and realize what is suggested. The realization is often a light seen by the person through closed eye, or it may be anything like that. This is what is called meditation or ‘Dhyanayoga’ in spiritual world.

There are various ways of meditation but the common feature remains loneliness of the person and discussion on the matter with others is prohibited by the guide. Loneliness of a person by itself generates mental disorder in a person, and when the individual is pushed into loneliness frequently for long durations, his/her mind stops functioning on considering anything else other than what is suggested to him by the guide.

History of Spirituality

Spirituality, called Adhyatma, in eastern world was devised about 2,500 years ago during Vedic Era by enemies of Vedic scholars and works through cutting off the person from his/her social order and environment. To strengthen their idea, they misinterpreted Vedic literature written in Vedic Sanskrit through change of word meanings through modern Sanskrit language. Original Vedic meaning of the word ‘Adhyatma’ is to ‘study a subject by a person by him/herself’ through books and other aids like experimentation. This was misinterpreted to mean ‘study of the self’. Similarly, Vedic meaning of word ‘dhyanayoga’ is combining various food-grains (dhanya). Such changes in words, such as ‘dhanya to ‘dhyana’, in Vedic literature are common for expression of multiple subjects in a text which has been the special feature of Vedic literature. Each textual matter deals with more than one subject.

Vedic scholars had realized this misuse of words by enemies, and provided adequate guidance in their literature about dangers of spiritual practices such as ‘dhyanayoga’. Their latest creations have been ‘Bhavaprakash’ by Muni Agastya and ‘Arthashasstra’ by Vishnugupta Chanakya. ‘Bhavaprakash’ deals with the subjects of Ayurveda and history, while Arthashastra deals with economy and Vedic etymology (science of word meanings). For the multiplicity of the subjects, there are no unique meanings of words in Vedic literature but each word has different meanings at different places depending upon other words in its vicinity.

Bhavaprakash on Meditation

Bhavaprakash prescribes that ‘meditation’ causes faster ageing of the practitioner of loneliness. The practice of meditation slows down biological functioning of body organs. This calming down of the body appears to provide relief to the subject person, while it damaging to life for slowly moving the person towards stillness and death.

Slowdown of biological functioning, such as digestion, keeps the food intake within the body for duration longer than the desired normal period, making it stale on the way with generation of bacteria, germs and worms in the stale food within intestines and rectum of the person. Live organisms so generated are named ‘Riddhi’ and ‘Vriddhi’ which block the food and excreta passage. The first symptom of such a blockage is that the person is required to discharge excreta multiple times during a day each time in small quantity. This creates more staleness in the body leading to many other diseases. The ultimate result observed by Vedic scholars is faster ageing of the person practicing meditation.

Other reason of generation of Riddhi and Vriddhi has been found to be consumption of more food-grains instead of fruits and duly cooked vegetables. With higher consumption of food-grains and spiritual practice of meditation, overall result has been gradual reduction in average lifespan of people from the astonishing 400 years to the present of about 70 years. Modern medical science has improved the average lifespan of people by keeping old and sick persons alive but has not contributed to overall health and well-being of the people.

So before you take up any spiritual practice, think in terms of your health, well-being, productivity and lifespan.

Rely on Barley rather than on Wheat for a Healthy You


Humanity today has been consuming Wheat as a food ingredient, probably more than anything else. Rice seems to be closest contender. Out of these two, Wheat is a more robust food than the Rice. Rice used as food is further downgraded by polishing its grains after de-hulling process when its most nutritious top layer is skinned away to provide the grains a shine. This skinned out material is used to prepare high-value foods and medicines. So, if you are a Rice eater, make sure that your grains are not polished by the Rice Millers. All commercially available Rice is polished, hence it is advised to get Paddy from the market and get it milled for removing its top-layer of hay only, keeping its top brownish skin intact.

Wheat consumption as human food is preferred over Barley for the former’s cleaner skin and convenience of use. Barley is disliked for the same reasons and gone out of use as common human food. Now, it is mainly grown and used for making Beer. Barley was developed, cultivated and used as food before Wheat appeared on the scene.

Surprisingly, a majority of human population finds difficulty in consuming Barley as food for developing Rheumatism in their bodies, while Wheat poses no such problem. This is because of the human practice of relying on Wheat has changed body constitution in favor of Wheat, and against Barley. This is one of the most important reasons why average human lifespan has been sliding down from the ideal of 500 years about 2,500 years ago to the present ideal of 100 years.

Comparison of Wheat and Barley

Wheat is a hot and acidic food while Barley grain is cold and alkaline. Human body gets evil effects of ageing through heat and acidity of the atmosphere and those generated inside the body from food intakes. Therefore, all acidic and hot foods create more ageing effects on the body of the consumer, while cold and alkaline foods have no such evil influences on the body. Rice lies somewhere in between Wheat and Barley. Another favorable factor of Barley is its fiber content. While Barley has a great amount of fiber, Wheat is highly deficient in fiber.

Endosperm of Wheat is tastier than that of Barley which makes Wheat a more likable food than Barley. But attached with this lovable factor is stickiness of the Wheat endosperm which is not the case with Barley. Due to sticky nature of Wheat, any food preparation from Wheat tends to stick in intestines of the consumer, causing many disorders in the body. Roasting of Wheat grains or derivative of it reduces the stickiness, hence is essential in many food preparations such as Porridge. Barley poses no such problem and Barley foods move cleanly through the intestines.

Only top crust of Wheat grain coving the endosperm is non-sticky and alkaline in nature. It is used to make a Wheat derivative food ingredient called Semolina. Superfine Wheat grain flour and other Wheat products commercially available in the market are mode after this top-crust is removed from the food-grains, making these foods more harmful than the whole grain foods.

Barley has a top protective layer of hay which is indigestible, hence must be removed from the grains before using the Barley as food. Passing Barley flour through a fine mesh removes major part of the hay, and whatever remains works as useful fiber in the food. This top hay layer of Barley grains has been a major factor for why the humanity has moved away from Barley and favored Wheat.

Cleaning of Barley Grains

Though it is clumsy and difficult to remove the top hay layer from Barley grains, it is not altogether impossible. In Rajasthan State of India, major producer of Barley in India, it is still a food of poor people who have devised ways to remove the hay layer before using Barley as a food constituent. Conventionally, the hay layer is removed by moistening the grains and hitting again and again in a mortar when the hay layer is loosened from the grains which may be blown away. This operation is required to be performed thrice for getting Barley grains clean like the Wheat grains. But this reduces shelf-life of the grains. The process may be mechanized. The gains may then be crushed for reducing to required size and easier to cook as Barley Porridge or for cooking with some pulse gains. I have tried cleaned Barley grains mixed with equal amount of whole grain Lentils and cooking with some oil and spices to suit individual taste-buds.

Here is the plan of my home Garden in the making with fruit trees including Olive Plants, Ayurvedic medicinal herbs including Braahmee, seasonal green vegetables, flowers of perennial and seasonal nature, and a new improvised watering scheme that supplies water to plant roots only through nearby drains.

Utilization of Nutrition by Body

Here is another infographic on the same subject depicting the time-frame of events taking place inside the body after the food is digested by the intestines. As may be visualized from the two infographics, the food juice is processed in six steps to ultimately reduced to body Aura and procreative male/female fluids.


In each of these six processes, the nutritional juice is first transmitted to a site in the body where it is heated up by heat of the local Dhatu for refining of the juice to take place. This heating takes place for 5 day-night cycles when wax comes out of the juice leaving a more refined essence. The wax is utilized for various purposes in the body for supporting cough, pitta, etc and ultimately consumed or ejected out of the body.
